Husband-and-wife team Blake and Velma Lesansee started working together in the mid-1950s. Best known for their inlaid owl design in necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pins. These pretty little 1950's pins are their early Zuni work and are flat inlay, with turquoise, jet, coral and shell. Very pretty earrings that look lovely on. Not hallmarked, which was common during this era.

The large owl measures, 1 3/4" long by 1/2" wide. The little owls measure 1" long by 5/8" wide.

Their work is featured in the publication from 1977, Zuni The Art and The People, Vol 3.
