This beautifully crafted Squash Blossom necklace is hand crafted Navajo work. Wonderful, aged Nevada turquoise in freeform shapes adds a nice traditional look to this squash. It is a great necklace with very nice, hand-crafted beads and a gorgeous naja. Very fine work!! Heavier gauge silver was used on the handcrafted beads, and time was taken to smooth them out to a beautiful finish. The Naja and each blossom have lovely, stamped fans adding the final touches to this lovely necklace. A smooth, deep patina graces the entire necklace. Beautiful on!

This necklace dated to the late 1940's into the early 50's and does not have a maker's mark--being of a time when such things were not commonly done. The overall condition is excellent.

The Naja measures 2 1/2" long by 2 1/4" wide. The bead portion of the necklace measures 25" long. Weight is 160 grams.
