This rare Zuni inlaid ring features an impeccable inlay of Mother of Pearl, Turquoise, Coral and a variety of etched shell. Depicting a quail with his beautifully detailed work. A heavy shank with a unique shaped border adds the final touch to the design. A choice piece from Elliot Qualo, who is considered amongst the best in stone to stone inlay. Hallmarked with his double antler stamp. His brief career only lasted from 1960's to 1979.
