This beautifully crafted Squash Blossom necklace is hand crafted Navajo work. Circa: 1940/50's. It is a statement necklace with heavy 14mm stamped beads and a gorgeous sand cast naja. Very fine work!! Heavier gauge silver was used on the handcrafted beads and time was taken to smooth them out to a beautiful finish. The Naja has a beautiful design, with a turquoise stone and is attached directly to the center bead.

This necklace dated to the 1940 into the early 50's and has a maker's mark-where the green cloth is tied and also on the center attached naja bead. It has 3 wonderful arrows on the beads. An artist once known and a very talented bead maker. The overall condition is excellent.

The Naja measures 3 1/2" long by 2 1/2" wide. The necklace measures 25 1/2" long. Weight is 222 grams.
