This beautiful inlaid silver flask was crafted by Zuni artist Bruce Zunie. He is considered one of the best mosaic and channel inlay jewelers in Zuni history. He created these wonderful inlaid Parrot figures, which are the centerpiece of this wonderful flask. The figures are set with turquoise, coral, mother of pearl and jet on both sides, with an inlaid flower lid. You can feel where he hand hammered the dome of this flask, making it smooth. A beautiful soft patina graces the entire flask. Not hallmarked which was common during this early era. A tag stating the artists name and date of creation is included.

Often worn around the neck with a leather strap, the Native Americans would fill the flask with Tobacco. Over the years the flasks became more ornate as the trade increased with tourists. The flask measures 3 1/2" tall x 3" wide.
