This lovely bolo was hand-crafted by Zuni artist Larry Chavez. Larry creates mosaic inlay pieces that are so precise and beautiful. His work has beautiful inlay of tomato red coral, webbed turquoise and black jet. He adds a beautifully designed silver frame. Larry worked with Stone Weavers in Albuquerque, N.M. for several years, having access to beautiful materials.

The bolo measures 2 1/4" tall by 1 5/8" wide. Hallmarked Larry Chavez.

This bolo is one of many collected by a teacher that wore his bolos every day to his classroom. Many I will be showing have the year he wore them and in what class he was teaching. It's an honor to share some of his special bolos with others.
