This stunning Peshlakai pin c.1940's, offers a vast array of his amazing stamp work on both the wings and body and the delicate setting of stones. Beautifully crafted this wonderful pin is hallmarked FP with his left facing arrow and long flight feathers. Fred's always unusual techniques used for raising the pin placements are not seen on any other pins from this era. Unfortunately only one butterfly earring was found with the pin, but it is included in the price in case you might want to convert it into a small pin, ring or pendant. They must stay together.

These wonderful pieces were acquired with a collection of several, Fred Peshlakai pieces that were purchased directly from Fred's shop on Olvera St. in Los Angeles in the early 1940's. More information is available on provenance.

The butterfly pin measures 1 3/4" long by 1 7/8" wide. The earring measures 1" long by 7/8" wide.
