This wonderfully hand-wrought belt buckle was created by Navajo artist Calvin Martinez. Calvin began his jewelry career in the 1980's. His work is admired by many and earned him many awards. He does more traditional designs that are just outstanding!
This wonderful domed belt buckle is set with a gorgeous Red Mountain turquoise stone with its beautiful blue colors and red matrix. A beautiful smooth satin patina graces the entire buckle. The lovely silver design with precise stamp work is seen throughout this beautiful buckle. 95 grams. Hallmarked C.MTZ inside an arrow, sterling and Navajo. The buckle measure 3 11/16" long by 3" tall and will hold a 1 1/2" belt.
