Among the most renowned Zuni fetish carvers, Edna Leki was probably the first female carver in Zuni. She was also the daughter of famed fetish carver Teddy Weahkee.

This wonderful bear measures 1 3/4" long by 1" tall and is carved from a mixed colored agate (somewhat translucent). Edna also added a bundle, which is made up of a small carved arrow point, heshi and coral tied to the back of the bear. A wonderful piece of history from an amazing woman artist. c: 1924-2003
