This beautiful Nacozari cab measures 15.6mm x 21mm x 5mm thickness. The WEIGHT 7.9 carats. The color is a medium blue/green with a light yellow and white matrix. The stone has a couple of very small natural pits. The stone is thinly backed.

Nacozari Turquoise is found in Sonora, Mexico south of the Bisbee, Arizona in the same mountian range. Like the Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, this turquoise is desired for it's beautiful blue color and very little matrix. Some material contain tiny pyrite inclusions and white spots due to the stone's aluminum content.
