Description

Leonard (1923-1992) and Lula (1930-2004) were considered, two of the most accomplished silversmiths in Zuni.
This beautifully designed Squash Blossom necklace offers the best of their fine petti point work. Meticulously settings of natural turquoise that has wonderful color change over the years. 183 perfectly cut stones are placed in small silver bezels and enhanced with twist wire and silver raindrops. Finely handcrafted beads add the final touch to this great necklace.

The Naja measures 3 3/4" tall by 3" wide. The total length measures 30" long. Not hallmarked, which was common on their early pieces.

Their work is published in Zuni Jewelry, the Art and the People, Vol 3, by Barbara and Ed Bell.
