This beautiful cast necklace with top grade turquoise was crafted by Navajo silversmith Ambrose Lincoln
(1917-1989). Ambrose was a teacher at the Santa Fe Indian School in 1942. He
was an award-winning silversmith and worked with Trader C.G. Wallace, and Trader
Charles Kelsey in Zuni, NM. Ambrose Lincoln was also a veteran of WWII and died
in 1989. His work is always well made and is a wonderful addition to any
collection.
The center portion measures 2 1/4” in diameter, with the 6 others measuring 1 1/4” in diameter. The lovely hand-crafted bead portion measuring 23" total length. This piece is signed with his
unique hallmark, an A inside a keystone shape.
