Description

This lovely Juan Calavaza, Zuni bolo is set with seven beautiful Natural Morenci Turquoise cabochons. Juan was a master silversmith, starting his career in the 1930's, until his passing in 1970. His career was short lived, making his pieces highly desired. His wife Effie began working with him in 1956 and continues today, making many, many jewelry pieces. A wonderful cast setting adding the final touch to this great piece. This piece is not hallmarked, which was common on his early pieces. A beautiful aged patina graces the entire bolo.

The bolo measures 2 7/8" tall by 1 3/4" wide. The black leather cord measures 19" long, including the 2 1/4" silver tips.
