Joe Herrera Quintana (1915-1991) is considered by many to be one of the true master silversmiths of the 20^th century. Learning metal work during WWII, after the war he returned to his home in the Cochiti Pueblo and began his career in jewelry making. He apprenticed with well-known jeweler Frank Patania and worked in a number of shops in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque NM.

This Roadrunner is one of his recognizable designs. A comfortable heavy weight, with the buckle measuring 3" long x 2" wide. Hallmarked JHQ.
