This beautiful bracelet is the work of the Natachu family from Zuni, NM. Yelmo and Betty are known for their outstanding mosaic inlay jewelry. Their work began as early as the 1930's. This beautiful 1940's Zuni Knifewing is inlaid with natural turquoise, jet, mother of pearl and red abalone shell. All of their figures were small in size, with their bracelets featuring silver repousse and stamp work.
The knifewing figure measures, 2" long x 1 1/2" wide. The interior of the bracelet measures 4 13/16", with a 1" opening.
