This beautiful belt buckle was hand fabricated by Navajo artist Jerry Werito. There is not a lot of information on Jerry, but his work is amazing. Very fine and detailed stamp work is seen on the buckle. He created an outstanding design on this buckle. It has a nice medium/heavy weight. Hallmarked Jerry Werito, Sterling.

It measures 3 1/2" long by 2 1/8" wide and will fit a 1 1/4" belt.

This buckle is one of several collected over years by a Physician/professor that wore his jewelry every day to his classroom and lectures. Many have small stickers showing the date he wore them and in what class he was teaching. It's an honor to share some of his special pieces with others.
