This wonderful Owl was most certainly crafted by Zuni artist Theodore Edaakie. Both Lee and Theodore worked for Trader C.G. Wallace in Zuni, NM between the 1930's into the 1940's. Theodore became a master of inlay work and passed on his knowledge to many members of his family. To this day the Edaakie family continues to craft beautiful Zuni jewelry.

Set with beautiful materials of turquoise, jet, Mother of Pearl, coral and cowry shell. This cute Owl offers the best of Theodore's channel inlay work. Very nice hand crafted bolo tips add the final touch to the bolo. A nice silver patina graces the piece. The owl measures 1 3/4" long by 2" wide. The black braided leather is 22" long, including 2" tips. Not hallmark, which was common with many of the early era artists.
