Alice Quam began jewelry making in the mid 1940's. In the 1960's she began using a hallmark. Her skills as both a stone cutter and silversmith are those of a master. Her cluster Zuni jewelry quickly became collectable, as each piece was done with amazing precision. Her use of high quality materials, both in the turquoise and coral she chose for her pieces, were also a hallmark of her exquisite work.

This beautiful link necklace is set with gorgeous deep tomato/red Mediterranean Coral cabochons. The red coral with the silver makes this a spectacular piece. A fine silver twist wire, perfectly placed silver raindrops add the final touches to this necklace. Hallmarked with her A. Q. dating it to the 1960's or later. A highly collectable piece by a master Zuni artists.

The bottom center measures 2" wide by 3 1/3" long. Each of the 4 side clusters measure 1 1/2" by 1". The total length is 21 1/2", which can be adjusted to a shorter length for the perfect look, depending on your personal preference.
