Description

This lovely necklace offers 7 beautifully matching Rare, webbed Pixie turquoise stones. Wonderful silver leafs frame the side of each stone, with a unique silver design of the overall piece. The silver beads and the necklace have a nice soft patina which adds the final touches to the necklace. A beautiful turquoise necklace that looks gorgeous on the neck! This is the true color!

The Pixie Turquoise Mine is in the Crescent Valley area of Nevada, near the Fox, Orville Jack, and Carico Lake mines. Each of these mines yield vivid greens.
Until very recently, the Pixie mine has been left untouched. It was originally claimed by Doc Ingersol. A gold mine now owns the rights to the Pixie mine. The mine produces very little turquoise, making any that comes on the market very collectable.

The length is the necklace is 27 1/2" long. The center drop including bail is 2 1/2" long x 1 3/4" wide. The center stone is 1 1/4" long x 1" wide. There is no hallmark of the necklace, but the workmanship is quite nice. There is a very thin healed inclusion on one of the stones, but it is tight and now worries of lose. All of the other stones are perfect and have the beautiful webbed matrix. Truly stunning on!!!
