This beautifully designed Squash Blossom necklace was created by Zuni artist Marvelyn Lasiloo. Stunning silver work with stamped drops, leaves and scalloped bezels frame each of the nugget cut stones of high grade, natural Morenci turquoise. Finely handcrafted beads add the final touch to this great necklace.
Marvelyn would come into our Trading Post in Gallup to purchase the Morenci turquoise and was often accompanied by someone in the Simplicio family. Looking closely, you see similarities with these two families work.
The Naja measures 4" tall by 3 1/2" wide. The total
length measures 31" long. The squash blossom is Hallmarked with her ML and ZUNI.
