Simplicio was the first to use branch coral in its natural form and the first to set rough-cut coral nuggets on rings. This lovely ring is set with two Natural turquoise cabochons and a deep ox blood coral freeform cabochon. This piece offers the best of Simplicio's style of work, with his beautiful stamped leaf's, quality of materials and precise scalloped bezels. The ring measure 1 7/8" long by 7/8" wide. The size is a 8. No signatures or makers mark but definitely the work of Dan Simplicio. Circa: 1960's.

His work is cited in every major publication chronicling 20th century Zuni jewelers.
