This beautiful, natural Blue Gem cab measures 11mm x 20mm x 2.8mm thickness. This cabochon is not backed. The total WEIGHT 3 carats. The color is a mix of deep blue/green with a yellow/orange matrix. Blue Gem was most often found in thin veins, but the material itself is quite hard and takes a beautiful shine. This material was purchased and cut in the early 1970's. Note: The white areas are light reflection.
