Hubert Pincion is one of only a very few Zuni fetish carvers to carve all of his figures by hand, much like those carvers from decades past. He does not use any type of electric tool. His fetish carvings are made using only an old penknife and a few files. Not an easy task.
This wonderful horse is carved from Picasso marble. Hallmarked.
This fetish measures 1 1/2" long by 1" tall. A wonderful piece of art from an amazing artist. c: 1946-.
