Valjean Joshevema (Lomaheftewa) active (1948-1970's is considered one of the great Hopi jewelers. He was with the original G. I. Bill silversmiths, along with Paul Saufkie and painter Fred Kabotie, who helped create the Hopi Silvercraft Cooperative Guild in 1949. This Guild offered training, materials, financing, workspace and marketing for the Hopi silversmiths.
This wonderful bracelet is simple elegance. The most intriguing thing about this bracelet is it is not overlay but precise stamp and file work which is beautifully done. A soft satin finish and a wonderful unique design.

It measures 1 5/8" wide. Inside measures 5 11/16" with a 1 1/8" opening. Slightly adjustable. Hallmarked with his Crescent Moon and the Hopi Silver Craft Guild mark.
