This lovely petit point Butterfly necklace is hand fabricated Zuni work. It is set with 50 hand cut, natural turquoise stones that are carefully set in fine saw tooth bezels. The stones have a wonderful aged color change. This necklace is dated to the 1940's and does not have a maker's mark. The age, design and exquisite work could only be done by an early master. Note the tiny, tiny silver drops between the wings. Beautifully crafted. A wonderful deep patina graces the entire piece.

The little butterflies measure 1/2" long by 5/8" wide. The total necklace length measures 16" long, which includes the handmade link chain. The chain allows for your desired length.
