This unique, pendent was hand crafted and signed by Santa Domingo silversmith Thomas Bird. Taawakatsina or sun figure is traditionally a significant part of the Hopi culture and represents, the spirit of the sun God in many pueblo's. This outstanding piece of art is hand fabricated piece by piece, with precise detail in every part. The rare, high grade natural Tyrone turquoise stone used as a center piece, adds to the over all quality of this piece. The silver beads were also hand fabricated by the artist and are beautifully crafted. The pendant measures 4 3/8" long by 2 1/8" wide with an additional 5/8" bail. The beads are 24" total length.
