This wonderful flower necklace was created by Zuni artists Nicholas & Teresa Leekela (Active:1950-?). Beautiful inlay work of top-grade Sleeping Beauty turquoise and deep red coral set in a flower design with a Mother of Pearl background. Each pedal and leaf are carved. This beautiful necklace dazzles the eyes, with the vivid colors. Their handmade chain is also very nice. Not hallmarked which was common on much of their early work.
The center flower measure 1 1/8" tall by 1 1/8" wide. The length is 19" long.
