Non-native. This lovely Alberto Contreras necklace features 7 beautiful, high dome Blue Gem turquoise stones set in wonderful silver repousse design. Each section has a stunning silver frame that are domed with silver drop nuggets surrounding each stone. Substantial weight. The lovely silver beads and smooth deep patina add the final touches to the piece. A beautiful turquoise necklace that looks gorgeous on the neck!

Alberto Contreras C: 1949-1994 was taught silversmithing, by Frank Patania Sr., prior to 1949. That influence carried on in his designs throughout Alberto’s career. In 1949 Alberto started his silversmithing shop in Tucson. His family continues making beautiful jewelry at their business, Contreras House Fine Arts in Tucson AZ.


The length of the necklace is 18" long. The sections graduate in size, with the center one measuring 2" long by 1 5/8" wide. Hallmarked Sterling, AC.
