Zuni artist Andrew Dewa was active from1960's until his death in 2001. He was best known for his figural mosaic inlay and his sun-face motif. This beautifully made Zuni necklace is set with turquoise, jet, Mother of Pearl, coral, yellow lip shell and abalone shell. Parts of the figure are his distinct raised mosaic design. The detail throughout this necklace is a wonderful example of one of Zuni's most talented artists. Hallmarked. A DEWA ZUNI.
The bottom portion measures 2 5/8" tall by 1" wide with other feather portions measuring 1 3/8" by 1/2" wide. The chain length is 16" long.
