This lovely pin-sew on by Dan Simplicio, c. 1950, is masterfully set with natural Morenci Turquoise freeform cabochons. The stones were hand cut, with Dan leaving the natural contours on each stone. This pin offers an unusual design in Simplicio's work, with his beautiful stamped silver drops and precise scalloped bezels. The pin/sew on measures 4" long by 2 3/4" wide and can be worn either direction. A possibility of this piece showing a knifewing? Look closely!
