This beautiful classic, 1950's squash blossom necklace offers a bit of history along with fine workmanship. The original owner was Author, James Jones who along with other publications, wrote the well known book, From Here To Eternity. A copy of "INTO ETERNITY" The Life Of James Jones American Writer, Author Frank MacShane, will be included with purchase, along with a letter of provenance.
This amazing
necklace is not small, with 16mm beads graduated. Each bead is beautifully hand stamped. Each blossom measures 1 3/4" from end
to end. The Naja measures 3" long by 2 3/4" wide and features a high grade Persian Turquoise stone. The total bead portion
measures 22" long, with the addition of the 3" Naja.
The over
all piece is in excellent condition, with some wear on the beads. A beautiful patina graces the entire necklace.
