This beautiful Red Mountain cab measures 15.5mm x 27mm x 4.5mm thickness. The WEIGHT 17.5 carats. The surface is slightly contoured. The color is a bright blue with a reddish orange fine webbed matrix. The stone is not backed, as the mother rock or host rock forms the backing, with a fairly thin turquoise surface.

This Natural turquoise comes from Nevada, located in Lander County. The Red Mountain mine has produced some of the finest high quality turquoise in the industry. Often set in only the best gold pieces and used by the master silversmiths. Very collectable material. Note: The white areas are light reflection off contours or camera angle.
