These lovely earrings of sterling overlay were hand crafted by well-know Hopi artist Lewis Lomay. c:(1913-1996). He began his career in jewelry in 1930's and worked for a period of time with Frank Patania in Santa Fe NM. His designs were both traditional Hopi with a touch of European influence at times. His work is highly collectable.
The earrings measures 1" by 3/4" with sterling posts. A beautiful soft matt finish adds the final touch to these earrings. Each earring is hallmark with his LL.
