Masterfully crafted this beautiful earring pair was hand crafted by well-known Zuni artist John Gordon (Leak) Leekity. His work was prominently featured in the 1975 Sotheby's auction of the C.G. Wallace collection. John Gordon Leak was well-known for his mosaic inlaid knifewings, arrows and dragonfly images. This lovely earring pair has the central knifewings set in a black and gold shell background with added turquoise snake eyes framing the top and bottom of the earrings. Absolutely beautiful on!
