This amazing Natural Morenci turquoise nugget bolo was handcrafted by well-know Hopi artist Lewis Lomay. c:(1913-1996). He began his career in jewelry in 1930's and worked for a period of time with Frank Patania Sr. in Santa Fe NM. His designs were both traditional Hopi with a touch of European influence at times. His work is highly collectable, as well it should be. Hallmarked double L's.
This beautiful bolo is set with 5 gem quality Natural Morenci turquoise nuggets. A lovely silver design holds these beautiful stones. Nicely handcrafted silver tips adds the final touch to this piece. This bolo can be worn by anyone wanting a statement piece by a master!
The bolo measure 2 5/8" tall by 2 1/8" wide. The tips are 1 1/2" long. The length is 18 1/4" each side, including tips.
