Zuni artist Porfilio Sheyka was active from1960's until his death in 2001. He was best known for his figural channel inlay of animals and birds. He worked with his wife Ann on many pieces. This beautifully made Horse bolo is set with turquoise, jet, mother of pearl, brown clam shell and coral, with a narrow stamped silver frame. Parts of the figure are the distinct, slightly raised inlay design. The detail throughout this bolo is a wonderful example of one of Zuni's most talented artists. Hallmarked with his P plate, etched Sheyka.

The bolo measures 2 5/8" long by 2 3/8" wide with 2" tips. The black braided leather with tips total length is 36" long.
