This beautiful pin is Zuni work and attributed to Homer Vacit. This pin is hallmarked by Little Joe Begay, who worked for Trader C.G. Wallace in Zuni, NM. He was a master silversmith and did many silver pieces for Zuni inlayers. He designed the beautiful silver for their inlay work. This beautiful 1940's Zuni Knifewing is inlaid with natural turquoise, jet, mother of pearl and red abalone shell. The tiny silver raindrops are all stamped.
The knifewing figure measures, 2 1/2" long x 2 1/8" wide. Beautiful collaboration!
