This beautiful Blue Diamond cab measures 15.4mm x 28.3mm x 4.2mm thickness. The WEIGHT 14 carats. The color is a vivid deep blue with dendrites and black chert swirled matrix. The stone is thinly backed. Georgous cab!!

Blue Diamond mine is located in Landers county, Nevada. Produced mainly during the late 1960's to early 1970's. Many different owner over many years, with Joe Morris being the original owner. The deposits produced a large variety of colored matrix or host rock, most commonly dendrites with swirls of black chert. Colors ranged from light blues to dark blue and shades of green. The mine remains unworked.
