This wonderful bolo is the work of well-know Hopi artist Morris Robinson. Morris Robinson (Talawytewa) was born at Oraibi. He began his career in Phoenix AZ in the early 1920's and continued his silversmithing, until retiring in 1963. He working at several different Indian Jewelry stores in Arizona, where his pieces became highly desired by collectors. He used his personally crafted stamps, creating intricate and amazing designs.

This bolo offers the best of Morris Robinson's amazing abilities as an artist and also a vintage piece of history. The bolo is set with a beautiful Natural webbed turquoise nugget, surrounded by fine stamp work. An early slide bolo back helps age this piece. A smooth patina graces the entire bolo.

The bolo measures 1 1/2" long by 1 1/4" wide, with 1 1/2" tips. The slide is hallmarked with Morris's snake and H. Excellent condition.
