This attractive bolo is the work of well-know Hopi artist Morris Robinson. Morris Robinson (Talawytewa) was born at Oraibi. He began his career in Phoenix AZ in the early 1920's and continued his silversmithing, until retiring in 1963. He working at several different Indian Jewelry stores in Arizona, where his pieces became highly desired by collectors. He used his personally crafted stamps, creating intricate and amazing designs.

This bolo offers the best of Morris Robinson's amazing abilities as an artist and also a vintage piece of history. This more traditional bolo is set with a stunning, Natural Morenci turquoise stone and framed is a simple yet elegant silver design.

The bolo measures 1 7/8" long by 1 5/8" wide, with 2 1/2" silver tips. The total length of the black braided leather is 36", 18" each side, including tips. The bolo is hallmarked with Morris's snake and H. Excellent condition.
