Description

This lovely, Mary Marie Yazzie Lincoln squash blossom features the beautiful soft blues of natural Lone Mountain turquoise. Added to this stunning piece is her beautifully designed naja and handmade fluted silver beads. This is an earlier piece by Mary and she only did a few squash blossoms.

Mary Marie is the current matriarch of the talented and prolific Yazzie family of Gallup, New Mexico which are among the most celebrated Navajo jewelry making families of our time. Mary has been creating beautiful jewelry and actively silversmithing since the 1970's. She is no longer doing silver work, but continues to do lovely beaded neckwear. She has won many awards for her work and is featured in several publications.

The length of the necklace is 29" long, including the 2 1/4" by 2 5/16" naja. Hallmarked.
