Description

This splendid Edward Aguilar ten strand necklace features hand rolled heshi of the finest olive shell and conus shell. Mr. Aguilar was a master bead maker from the Santa Domingo Pueblo, in New Mexico. He created jewelry for over 40 years and was best known for his tubular silver beads. Just a beautiful piece from the careful work of a master.

This necklace is hallmarked on the silver cone, with an additional plus of the date of creation.(Ed Aguilar 5-23-77). The length of the necklace is 26 1/2" long, with the diameter of the heshi being approx. 2.5mm. A hand crafted silver chain allows for adjustment of the length.

This lovely necklace was given as a donation to our local Hospital Auxiliary to support the hospital and community. They are a registered Non-profit organization. The proceeds from this purchase will be given to our local Hospital Auxiliary.
