A amazing ring by famous Zuni artist John Gordon Leak (Leekity). His work was prominently featured in the 1975 Sotheby's auction of the C.G. Wallace collection. John Gordon Leak was most well-known for his beautiful inlaid knifewings, arrows and dragonfly images.

This lovely ring is a beautiful example of his work. The central knifewing image is inlaid with the four sacred colors, Mother of Pearl, abalone and turquoise, within a black jet background. Very fine twist wire graces the outer silver frame, with a stamped ornament on the side and a stamped shank. The top face of the ring measures 3/4" long by 3/4" wide. The ring size is a 6 1/2.
