Description

This beautifully crafted bolo tie is Zuni work by well-known artist Edward Beyuka. This Zuni Kukikwe Okya figure or (Hopi Harvest Katsina) is set with materials of coral, carved turquoise, yellow lip shell, carved Mother of Pearl and jet, with silver accents. Eddie added his wonderfully crafted, free moving silver baskets to this piece. This lovely piece is one of the prettiest combinations of materials. Very striking. The outstanding, precise inlay is just perfect on this figure. The figure holds a silver knife in one hand and a cane in the other hand. Beautiful silver drums hang from the bolo tips.

It measures 3 1/2" wide by 5 1/4" long with 1 3/4" long silver tips. The braided black leather, including tips is 18 3/4" long. Hallmarked EAB Zuni.
