This unique round bolo is the work of well-known Zuni artists Dexter and Rosemary Cellicion. It depicts Saiyatasha the one-horned katsina, Rain Priest of the North, who is the foremost figure in the Shalako ceremony, where he makes his only appearance.

Set with materials of turquoise, jet, clam shell, Zuni stone and abalone shell. This lovely piece offers the vast talents of the Cellicions, with his distinct channel inlay design, which often features his teardrop shaped feathers and setting of Zuni Katsina figures. Wonderful matching bolo tips adds the final touch to this bolo. Not hallmarked. Has an etched traders code.

The central figure measuring 2" in diameter, with the silver tips measuring 3" long, including 1" by 7/8" matching inlaid tips. The length of the braided black leather is 36". This bolo is in great condition and the colors are vivid.
