Description

This lovely bolo was hand-crafted by Navajo artists Alvin Begay (1950-). Often working with his wife Lula. Multiple award-winning artist. He created a stone-to-stone inlay piece that is so precise and beautiful. His work has beautiful inlay of all-natural high quality materials . Beautifully designed silver work on each part, including the tips adding the final touch to this great bolo. Nice heavy weight.

The bolo measures 3" tall by 1 7/8" wide. The tips are 3 1/4" long. The total length of the bolo is 42", including the tips. Hallmarked Alvin in a feather.

This bolo is one of many collected by a teacher that wore his bolos every day to his classroom. Many I will be showing have the year he wore them and in what class he was teaching. It's an honor to share some of his special bolos with others.
