This unique hand-wrought, heavy copper bowl is hallmarked HAND MADE BY INDIANS and AWA TSIREH c. 1925-1955. Beautiful struck stamping and an engraved Avanyu (Pueblo Water Serpent) graces the inside of the bowl. Awa Tsireh was best known for his beautiful paintings and metalsmithing work. The bowl measures 1 3/4" tall by 8" in diameter. In very good condition. Overall, a wonderful piece of history from a master craftsman!
