This wonderful bolo was hand crafted by Zuni artist Isabelle Simplicio and features her most famous inlaid horse head design in mother of pearl, pin shell and jet, with 2 turquoise accent stones. Two beautiful Simplicio leaves grace the top of the bolo. No visible hallmark, but has a Bennett back C-31, which dates between late 50's to mid 60's. This piece has not been cleaned and shows a lovely patina, as many collectors prefer. There are 2 very small areas on the dark shell background that have been chipped out, but does not show color difference. The bolo measures 2" long by 1 3/4" wide, with 2 1/4" long silver tips.
