This beautiful ring was hand fabricated by Navajo silversmith Al Joe. Al has been making jewelry for over 30 years and is considered a master of the craft. He works in both silver and gold, and is especially well known for his handmade beads. He considers his work contemporary but with traditional roots. Al has won several awards for his work, including being awarded the prestigious IACA artist of the year award in 2009 and prior in 2001, being one of only two artists winning this award twice. He also won the best of division at the Heard Museum show in 2005. This beautiful ring is made from sterling silver and accented with a 14 karat gold heartline bear with paw prints on the sides and measures 1/2" across tapering down to 1/4". This ring is a size 10 1/2.
