This beautiful Knifewing pin was crafted by well-known Zuni artist Teddy Weahkee. The piece is set with natural turquoise, jet, Mother of Pearl and red abalone shell. This pin offers the best of Weahkee's work, with his distinct mosaic design, carved wings and the outstanding, precise silver work. Absolutely one of the nicest knifewing pins we have seen!

The pin measures 2 1/2" long by 2 7/8" wide. Teddy did not use a hallmark, but this lovely pin is strongly attributed to his work. This pin is also coded, with the earliest of the C.G. Wallace resale codes EYY, etched on the back side of the pin. Dating the piece from 1928-1940. We carry conversion pins, for use as a pendant. Please visit Artist biographies on our Home page.
